SERGE MOUILLE LIGHTING

LES LUMINAIRES de SERGE MOUILLE
Serge Mouille was a well known French designer of the 50's, the contemporary of the likes of Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé, Isamu Noguchi, and Jean Luce. His playful design, called generically floor lamp or ceiling lamp etc., is one of the most iconic designs of the middle of the 20th century and is still produced today. Only 600 are manufactured every year.
The versatility of the fixture enables it to be installed almost on any surface of a room. Serge Mouille's beginnings as a metallurgist must surely have something to do with it.

It comes as a small table lamp, a wall fixture, a ceiling light and a floor lamp, with many "tantacles" (it is then called the spider) or simply as a one, two or three arm piece.

I especially love it in custom order white.

I will need to seriously consider one, one of these days...well, dream about considering one.
au revoir.
