GIFTS GIFTS GIFTS IV JEWELRY

Noël, Noël, Noël
IV

Gifts offered at Christmas time can be all sorts of things. Small or large, very simple or very expensive, totally unique or really mundane, "It's the thought that counts" is indeed so very very right. Having said that, it is no easy job to figure out what will be a hit and what will be a dud. (I, for one, avoid ANY piece of clothing for anyone from ages 12 or over, unless a very detailed wish list is put in writing, signed and left for safekeeping with a lawyer. Accessories yes, garments NEVER.).  "The Thought" has to be a big part of "The Choice", yes, but if "someone" has no clue what to get me this year, not to worry. Anything will be very appreciated. I mean it. For all the rest of you out there, here are a few ideas for the jewelry lovers in your life.
Oh, and I already do have too many rings I fear.
And immediately a problem appears: is there such a thing as too many rings? I wonder...

  1. Love the Dana Blair ring...all it needs is a nice little box! I do not know what went through my mind but I have been accumulating very large gifts (size wise), no way they will all fit under the tree, especially a new sofa for my son...my dogs are even discouraged to lounge on the library sofa, the room is so cluttered with boxes.
Were you at the Ralph Pucci party? They are so many events in NY this week, I will be going to night to Vicente Wolf and thursday to BandB, and to morrow there is Thom Filiccia. Let me know if you are going to any of these. Everyone (but me , no Christmas party at the showroom this year...ran out of energy) is throwing Holiday parties.

I'll take anything from Paul Smith. I shave daily with a Paul Smith razor.
I have Paul Smith cuff links as well which look like little dominoes but the best gift for a guy is a silver key chain from Tiffany and Co., practical and fairly inexpensive despite the blue box it is presented in.
