Recipe for a Fall Graduation party

La Fête D'une Diplomée

Ingredients:

ONE GREAT COLLEGE
preferably somewhere cold and rainy



ONE GRADUATING ED STUDENT
of very proud, very happy 'rents


ONE MULTITUDE OF FRIENDS
(some also graduating, some not, all great!)



ONE APARTMENT
very comfortable (maman, may I take...and...?), with parking space($), and rented furniture ($) ("maman, relaxe, at least none of it is moving back home in 10 days!" whew! ), near campus and college job (great attitude! great job!)



 CONGRATULATORY FLOWERS
(Bravo Joy)



4 CUPS SCHOOL COLORS  M and M's
(compulsory for an (ex)student of 23 going on...13?)



ONE KITCHEN TABLE
(also rented)
+ maman's vintage tablecloth and bowls, + some plastic cutlery and paper plates (maman won't be around to clean up)
and a few dishes cooked by maman (..._ _ _... (SOS), do you think you could you also bring...)  




HEALTHY FOOD
cupcakes, delicious Indian paddies and great Falafel made by talented adorable friends;
(the healthy part? the obvious love put into theses dishes by the creative cooks)



DRINKS
just help yourselves. also beer in the fridge, and Moët et Chandon from generous friends.
 


MUSIC 
via computer, Iphone, mini high performance speakers etc.
VERY LOUD!



1) incorporate all the ingredients

3) kiss parents au revoir



serves a big crowd + one relaxed, happy grad, 
 ready, diploma in hand, to take on the world ...

well...maybe next week.
