Gray the other off-white

LE GRIS

Gray is often considered a sad color
like an old flannel suit or a foul weather day.
In fact it can be warm and soft
and it can add definition to a room in a subtle refined way.

On a stool or small table,
it can be there and yet not take any visual space.
Here, a typical bedside table in Tangier, Morocco.

On a large sofa, it blends in for a slightly masculine touch.
This time, in a living room in London.

In a bedroom, a very light version of gray
envelops this New York bedroom
with a definite sense of serenity.
