BONNES FÊTES MES AMIS!
Some negative comments were pronounced - I shall not give names- "it's a "puny tree" -and I quote-, it's "artificial...again?", "you even got an iridescent one "? etc., etc.
It's just as nice as a natural green one.
It's fine.
It's not the end of the world.
And whats more, just deal.
So there.
The jury is still out on the ecological question. Better than cutting down trees? not biodegradable? aghhhhh!!!
Does it all suddenly have to be so complicated?
Anyway, in the spirit of the season, to all my dear and faithful readers, may the Holidays be happy and serene and... aesthetically pleasing to all.
bonnes fêtes.
The tree looks fabulous!

Thank you.
ReplyDeleteTrès Bonnes Fetes Francine. A un de ces jours peut-être.
I love the image of the tree against the window. It's beautiful. I prefer trees that fit the design of a room - they do not have to be real trees. Painted twisted willow, tinsel covered giant cones, a clipped box (of the box hedge variety) a 3 dimensional wooden tree and artificial pine trees all have their place. I haven't had a real pine tree for decades. However, it is the love and spirit of Christmas and not the decorations that really count. Joyeux Noel.
