LE STYLE FAIR ISLE
Winter is here to stay in our part of the world and nicen warm, thick sweaters are the item of choice when hesitating about one's wardrobe in the morning. This season the traditional Fair Isle technique of Scotland was a big hit on the runways and the stores. The intricate knitting style is everywhere you look, inspired by one of the best collections: Dolce & Gabanna's winter line.
The look has now trickled down to interior design as looks are wont to do. I love the geometry and the mix of small repetitive patterns and large motifs that are "pixelized", if you will.
