THE CIRCLE of DESIGN: SCOTT WATERMAN

LE CERCLE DECO

We are all part of a large circle of design. This new topic will feature individuals or teams who bring their invaluable talent and expertise to the interior design world. They maybe artist and photographers, product designers or hunters of styles and trends. I may highlight their work with one image or develop the subject at more length. Whatever their link to design, you will find all of them awe-inspiring.

L'ART DE SCOTT WATERMAN
One might think that Scott Waterman is an extraordinary painter on walls. He renders silver leafed chinoiseries with maestria, he dresses walls in a breathtaking ombré degradé technique I have never seen before. And he does all this and more with touching modesty and humility, thanking you profusely if you ask the permission to feature his craft. You MUST visit his unique blog here.
Of course it is a craft well honed during years of practice I am sure. He regals his clients with maquettes of the rooms as they will appear after he has been there, then goes to work and voila!

Scott and his team prepare large hand painted "wall paper"

and once satisfied with the result, install the panels on site
WOW!

If that is not enough for one talented man, if you are Scott Waterman you are also a MAGNIFICENT artist. His art is poetic harmonious, sensitive and yet strong and stimulating. Judge for yourself. You'll see what I mean when you visit his site here.
