Noelle: I have been looking for kitchen stools. I want them comfortable and stylish, and have enough panache to make a statement. Any ideas?
Comfort: You are right to make it a priority; as for most seating, padding and a back makes the difference; in case of stools and as people spend a lot of time at the kitchen island here, eating, chatting, checking emails etc.(I much prefer a large table and regular height chairs) 2 other qualities to look for are the ability to swivel and to adjust up and down. I think some of the following pieces definitely fit the bill.
