Cow hide, after all, is leather with the fur still on; it can be dyed, printed, cut up and put together again, thrown on the floor, stuffed and pulled tight; it's like leather, as I said; the only difference is that it needs to be taken like homeopathic medicin: in tiny doses.
NB: cows are not an endangered species.
NB#2: might as well use the whole cow.
